Black Maternity Matters
A collaboration between many entities including West of England Academic Health Science Network, NHS, Black Mothers Matter, The Health Foundation and Representation Matters – Black Maternity Matters is a radical and disruptive project within the healthcare space.
What is starting as a pilot programme in the South West with potential for regional spread, Black Maternity Matters has multiple audiences, and the delivery of the programme needed to resonate with black birthers, supporting family, midwives, healthcare professionals and the general public. A design brief with levels of complexity that required a simple execution.
The chosen direction is one of nurture and empathy. We are soft but we are also strong.
